Praying the Rosary is one of the Catholic Church’s most popular devotions and enduring images. You may want to dedicate the Rosary to a specific intention, like a sick friend or relative.
Begin on the crucifix by making the sign of the cross.
Say the Apostles’ Creed, a profession of faith.
On the first large bead, say an Our Father.
Rosary beads are actually optional. You can also use your fingers to keep track of where you are.
On each of the next three smaller beads, say a Hail Mary.
On the next large bead, say a Glory Be.
Meditate on the first mystery. If you’re in a group, the leader will announce it first.
Say an Our Father.
Move clockwise to the next decade, or group of ten beads. Say a Hail Mary for each of the next 10 smaller beads.
On the next large bead, say a Glory Be.
Meditate on the second mystery.
Deepen the experience by saying the prayers slowly and really reflecting on the mysteries.
Repeat the cycle—saying an Our Father, followed by a Hail Mary for each of the 10 smaller beads, followed by a Glory Be, followed by the next mystery—though the fifth decade.
Once you’ve completed the fifth decade, say the Prayer after the Rosary on the medallion.
Make the Sign of the Cross.
Prayer beads are used in Islam, Buddhism, and Hinduism.

Good video, I would like to see more information on the Mysteries, and possibly the prayers themselves.

You might say what the mysteries are, as most people don't seem to know---even Catholics.

This is in the wrong section. Catholic and Christians are NOT the same thing. This belongs in the catholic section as the word of God itself states that repetitive praying and linguistic nonsense does not please the Lord, but thats their problem.....

I will want to tell you that Catholics were the first christians. Without catholics you wouldn't have a bible or even a christian tradition. No Christmas, Easter, ect. In fact America would probably be pagan, probably something closer to vikingism than anything if christianity (catholicism) failed as a religion after being founded by Jesus himself. All other christian denominations have someone else who founded them. Martin Luther founded the Lutheran Church, anabaptists started the seeds of the baptist church, and the anglican church was founded by the king of england, ect... only catholicism can trace an unfailing line back to Jesus himself. The sacraments, traditions and everything the Church has today is the inheritance of God's original church. Just remember that protestant bible was decided by Martin Luther, and the original bible was decided upon by the catholic church. 1 Timothy 3:15 says that the pillar of truth is the church, that church was the church that was in existence at that point in time, any other church that has come afterward cannot claim that same pillar of truth.
