- Step 7: Eat soup, fruit, and vegetables Eat unlimited soup, as well as fruit and vegetables and your 8-ounce glass of skim milk or yogurt to finish your first week.
- Step 8: Increase calories Continue eating soup, fruit, vegetables, chicken and fish, and drinking skim milk, but gradually reintroduce other a variety of foods, slowly moving toward a diet you can maintain over the long term.
