How to Pack for Your Hospital Stay

If you have to stay overnight at the hospital be sure to pack the essentials to make your stay as comfortable as possible.


  • Step 1: Place paperwork or documentation in your bag Place any necessary paperwork or documentation in your overnight bag. This may include your insurance card, an ID card, power of attorney, or a living will.
  • TIP: Leave any valuables, including credit cards and large amounts of cash, at home.
