How to Eat Ants

Instructions
- Step 1: Make sauteed ants Make sauteed ants by melting butter in a saute pan on low heat. Add garlic and 1 cup ants. Enjoy them as an appetizer.
- TIP: Do not use red ants for cooking.
- Step 2: Make ant brood tacos Make ant brood tacos. Heat 2 tablespoons butter in a small saute pan. Add the larvae and cook for 1 minute.
- Step 3: Add ingredients Add onions, chilies, tomato, salt, pepper, cumin, and oregano. Serve in taco shells.
- Step 4: Make chocolate covered ants Make chocolate covered ants. Melt chocolate in a double broiler.
- Step 5: Fill mold with chocolate Fill each candy mold cavity halfway with chocolate. Add three to five ants until you have used 1 cup ants, and then fill the mold with chocolate.
- Step 6: Place in refrigerator Place the candy mold in the refrigerator for 5 minutes, or until the chocolate sets.
- Step 7: Remove from mold Remove the candy from mold and serve. There is a surprise in every bite.
- FACT: Ants can pull 52 times their own body weight.
