How to Eat Spiders
Tarantulas have been a delicacy for years. Enjoy one of these recipes when they are hot and crispy.
Instructions
- Step 1: Remove abdomen Make tempura tarantulas. Start by removing the spider's abdomen.
- Step 2: Remove hair Singe off all of the hair with a lighter.
- Step 3: Make tempura batter Make the tempura batter according to the package directions and dip the tarantula in the batter.
- TIP: Make sure the spider is completely covered with batter.
- Step 4: Put in a deep fryer Put the spider in a deep fryer for 1 minute, or until it's crispy.
- Step 5: Place on paper towel Place the fried spider on a paper towel to drain any excess oil. Remove the legs and add a garnish. Then dip it in your favorite condiment.
- Step 6: Make deep fried tarantula Make deep fried tarantula without the tempura by first seasoning it with salt and garlic.
- Step 7: Place in deep fryer Place the seasoned spider in a deep fryer for 1 minute, or until it's crispy. They are crispy on the outside and gooey in the middle.
