How to Treat a Mosquito Bite
Mosquito bites are very common and very annoying. Relieve the itching and swelling with some common household products.
Instructions
- Step 1: Apply ice Apply an ice cube to the bite to help relieve the itch.
- TIP: Apply to the bite as soon as possible.
- Step 2: Mix a solution Mix a pasty solution of baking soda and water and apply to the affected area.
- Step 3: Rub on apple cider vinegar Dampen a cotton ball with apple cider vinegar and rub it onto the mosquito bite to help relieve the itching.
- Step 4: Apply toothpaste Apply flavored toothpaste to the mosquito bite to quickly eliminate the itching sensation.
- Step 5: Apply aloe Rub aloe onto the affected area to help stop the itch and to help heal the area.
- Step 6: Add salt Rub a saltwater solution directly onto the mosquito bite.
- Step 7: Apply calamine lotion Apply calamine lotion to a baby's mosquito bite to help relieve the itch and swelling.
- TIP: Keep calamine lotion away from eyes.
- Step 8: Rub soap Rub a dry bar of soap over the mosquito bite. At least one of these solutions should stop your itching in no time!
