How to Travel Safely with Children
With all of the distractions afforded by travelling, keeping your children safe can be a challenge. Use these helpful tips to keep your family safe.

- Step 1: Use safety restraint Use safety restraints based on your child’s weight and height. Keep them belted at all times.

- Step 2: Prepare for emergency Be prepared for an emergency by keeping a recent photo of your child, the number of their physician, and copies of their passports.
- Step 3: Provide identification card Provide children with identification cards that include their names, medical concerns, and a list of emergency numbers.
- Step 4: Bring toys and snacks Bring toys and snacks to keep them occupied.
- TIP: Sucking on a pacifier or bottle or chewing on fruit snacks or gum will ease discomfort caused by cabin pressure changes.
- Step 5: Take essential items Remember to bring essential items, including diapers, medicine, and food.
- Step 6: Provide itinerary to a relative Provide a relative with your travel itinerary in case of an emergency.
- Step 7: Clothe in bright clothes and pick a meeting spot Clothe your kids in bright colors so you will be able to identify them in a crowd. Arrange a meeting spot should you become separated. Have a safe trip.
