How to Make a Zombie Cocktail
Get your parasol, bendy straw, and coconut ready and enjoy Tiki time with this classic cocktail.
Instructions
- : Don't drink unless you're of legal age. Drink responsibly, and never drink and drive.
- Step 1: Measure and pour Measure the dark and white rums, brandy, grenadine, pineapple juice and simple syrup with the jigger and pour them into the shaker.
- Step 2: Add ice and shake Add a handful of ice to the shaker and shake well.
- TIP: Most cocktail shakers come with lids, but they sometimes get stuck. If this happens, lightly hit the side of the shaker against a counter edge to release it.
- Step 3: Pour into glass Pour the contents of the shaker -- without straining it -- into a glass.
- Step 4: Pour floater Pour the 151-proof rum over the top of the drink slowly, so that it floats.
- Step 5: Garnish and drink Garnish the glass with a cherry or pineapple wedge. Take a big gulp and feel the life coming back into your dead tired body.
- FACT: The production of rum was colonial New England's largest and most prosperous industry.
