How to Make a Tofu Stir Fry
This stir fry recipe is as delicious as it is easy to make. Go meatless for dinner tonight and have tofu stir fry.
Instructions
- Step 1: Cut the tofu Cut the tofu into 4-inch-thick slices and blot it well between layers of paper towels. Then cut the slices into 1/2-inch cubes.
- Step 2: Cook the noodles Cook the noodles according to the package directions and drain.
- Step 3: Heat the oil Heat the oil in a stir-fry pan or a wok. Add the tofu and stir fry it over medium-high heat until it's golden; transfer it to a plate.
- Step 4: Add the broccoli Add the broccoli with 1/4 cup water to the pan and cover it to steam until the broccoli is tender -- about five minutes.
- TIP: You can also use minced garlic, chopped green onions, and baby corn for added flavor.
- Step 5: Add noodles and tofu Add the noodles and tofu to the pan along with the peanut sauce and toss carefully. Cook until everything is heated through and serve.

- 1 lb. firm tofu
- 8 oz. udon
- soba
- Chinese wheat noodles
- or linguine
- 1 tbsp. peanut oil
- 2 large broccoli crowns
- 1/2 c. Thai peanut sauce
- Stir-fry pan or a wok
- 2 tsp. minced garlic (optional)
- 1/2 c. chopped green onions (optional)
- 6 oz. baby corn (optional)
