E minor 7 is next and, I know it sounds funny but we're going to use an E minor 7 shape to make and E minor 7 barre chord- It's possible. I'm taking my E minor 7 shape, that's an open chord, and I'm just going to flip that around so I have my 1st finger a little more comfortable, and in this case I have to travel all the way up to the 12th fret, (the double dots). I'm barring the 12th fret, I'm making my minor 7 shape, So this is E minor 7 as a barre chord. And then I can do the same thing with A minor 7. Here's the shape here, I'm going to change it so that my 2nd and 3rd fingers are playing the 2 notes that I need, and I'm gonna move that up the the 7th fret- So my barre is at the 7th, I'm making what looks like an E minor shape, but now its E minor 7 as a barre chord.
