- Step 1: Cut the watermelon Cut off the stem end of the watermelon so that it sits flat. Then cut about 3 inches off of the other end of the watermelon.
- Step 2: Gut the melon Scoop out half of the watermelon with a melon baller and freeze the balls to use as ice cubes later.
- Step 3: Puree the rest of the watermelon Scoop out the rest of the watermelon, leaving the rind intact, and put the fruit in a blender. Puree the watermelon and then push it through a strainer to remove any pulp.
- TIP: You can work in batches if the watermelon doesn't fit in your blender.
- Step 4: Add booze Pour the watermelon puree into the rind and add the tequila, triple sec, and frozen melon balls. Then top it with the soda and serve with a ladle. Drink up!
