Hi, my name is Michael Samaniego golf professional at Chalk Mountain Golf Course. Chalk Mountain Golf Course is a championship level golf course with 3 professional golfers, including myself. And today I'm going to talk to you about golf. Let's talk about how to hit a golf ball. Golf is an eye-hand coordinated sport, so it requires us to watch the club make contact with the ball. A couple of fundamentals you need to remember: club goes behind the ball, remember to keep your eye on the ball when you're making contact. Because the club is descending towards the ball, make sure you keep your head on a level plain. If you raise your head at impact the ball will squirt off to the right or you'll top the ball. We place the ball, our club behind the ball, check our target line; as we take the club away, we bring the club back down, impact, follow through, nice posture.
