Hi, my name is Michael Samaniego golf professional at Chalk Mountain Golf Course. Chalk Mountain Golf Course is a championship level golf course with 3 professional golfers, including myself. And today I'm going to talk to you about golf. Here's how you can better aim your golf swing. Just a couple of brief fundamentals. Remember when we aim our golf swing we aim using the leading edge of the club - the leading edge of the club and not our body. The club actually travels on an imaginary plain, about a forty five degree angle that allows the club to impact the ball squarely every time we execute the golf swing. So imagine if you will a hula hoop around my shoulders, around my body that this club actually travels on and stays on and allows my club to remain straight and impact the ball squarely. So we have to remember that in order to prevent us or avoid us from slicing the ball which has a left to right trajectory, or hooking the ball which has a right to left trajectory the club has to actually stay on plain. So as the can, as our club is descending we want to make sure that the club stays on that path, on that plain. At the bottom of the golf swing where we release our hands we actually want to release our hands at the bottom of the swing which rotates the club squarely back to the ball. Again, finishing the golf swing on plain- nice tall finish.
