Hi, my name is Michael Samaniego golf professional at Chalk Mountain Golf Course. Chalk Mountain Golf Course is a championship level golf course with 3 professional golfers, including myself. And today I'm going to talk to you about golf. Let's talk about how to choose golf shoes. Golf shoes, you know, obviously, you want to find yourself a pair of shoes that are nice and comfortable for you. With golf, however, you want to make sure you have good, secure footing for your feet. Remember we're moving the club at 60 or 70 miles an hour through the air. We want to make sure we have good footing with our feet. Uh, we wanna make sure that the clubs, the shoes have uh, uh, good spikes on them so that, when we are swinging, that our feet remain uh, stationery into the ground and, uh, we maintain our balance. Remember when purchasing your shoes, there is a wide variety of, of brands, uh, and costs associated with golf shoes. Obviously, you can spend up to $2-, 3-, 400 for a pair of shoes or you can spend $20 to 25, $30. Somewhere, in that range, that price range is probably somewhere where you should find your golf shoes. Don't be too, too, uh, uh, cost eff-, or, or economical when you invest in golf shoes. Remember, these are your feet. You need to protect your feet. You need to have good foundation, good fundamentals, and good balance when you pick out your golf shoes.
