Hi my name is Chris 51, I'm going to talk to you about the dangers of homemade tattoos. Where to begin? If hepatitis, HIV, infantigo, if that doesn't scare you, what about weeks of stuffing gauze under your skin tissue because of staff infections? Days on end in the hospital because of infection. All of this could happen with unsterilized equipment at home. Rubbing alcohol, boiling needles -- None of that works. It does not give you the sterility that an autoclave or professional medical equipment will give you. So think twice about going for that "cheap" tattoo. If that doesn't scare you, what about the costs? Why are you getting a homemade tattoo? To save some money. Okay, think of it this way. When you go get that homemade tattoo fixed at a shop, if they even want to fix it, mess with someone else's scar tissue and work, you're going to be paying 5-10 times the amount. So think about that the next time you drop twenty bucks, thirty bucks, or a case of beer in someone's garage for a tattoo. The hours and hours of pain, the money, and all of that that's needed to repair that tattoo down the road. 'Cause it will happen, I promise you you will need to get it fixed one day.
