My name is Michelle Dittrich, and I'm a make-up artist. I've done make-up on a lot of celebrities, Pam Anderson, Kanye West, Lenny Kravitz, Cynthia Nixon. There is a big misconception that "I could never do that look" on the runway, and you absolutely can, everybody can. You'll play to your best attributes, and I can show you how to do that. So we've just finished section 2 of prom make-up, which is the face portion. Now we're moving on to your prom lip, which should be kissable. So not too sticky, but we're going to put a gloss on. And it should have long wear. So we're going to apply the same stain that we did for your school fast look, again, as your base for your gloss. So just go ahead and apply it. It's a nice little lippy color, it will stay on through the night. Even if your gloss wears off, you'll still have some color on, in case you get icky pictures or are on the dance floor and you don't have the time to retouch your gloss. Just gives a really nice defined look. Then we're going to use a pretty sheer gloss, it has a little bit of shimmer to it. We just want to bring this whole look together as your perfect prom look. Of course you can play with different colors, but make sure it's simple, pretty and gets to the point of prom. Which is, it's just special. So just take a little bit of gloss and a cue tip. Or you can apply it directly to your lip from the tube, but remember that that's going to probably apply more gloss. You'll have more control and won't waste more product if you use it sparingly and add more later. Just take it over the top of that stain. And that is the finishing touch to your perfect prom look. So remember, keep it simple, look through magazines to find something appropriate for you. Have your mom, sister, friend help you pick out your concealer and your colors and have fun. Just have fun and enjoy your evening.
