My name is Michelle Dittrich and I am a make up artist. I've done make up on lot of celebrities, Pam Anderson, Kanye West, Tiffany Hewitt, Cynthia Nixon. There's a big misconception that I could never do that look on the runway and you absolutely can, everybody can and you can place your best attribute and I can show you how to do that. So let's talk about how to use a bronzer. When you're picking a bronzer you want to make sure that you get one that is good for your skin tone. A lot of times they can appear orangey which is something that you want to avoid. So for Dauphine we are going to pick something that has more of a golden finish. It's going to give her a little bit of a bronze but nothing so unnatural that she wouldn't normally get that color in the sun. So take that into consideration. How tone do you get if you get tone that would be your bronzer color. So I'm actually going to pick the lighter one which also has more gold to it and when you're applying your bronzer, you want to make sure that you get all of the points of your face that would naturally get sun first. So the points of your face that protrude are your forehead, nose, chin and cheeks and I'm going to start in a C shape motion, with the temples, work a little bit across the nose and down on to the chin. So start at the hairline and kind of brush in and make a C shape coming around. We're not really contouring because the color is not deep but it's going to give her a bronzer and stuff. Now we've already propped Dauphine with foundation, concealer and a humanizing cream as well as powder down the front of her face to take away shine. So now we're adding the bronzer at the temples in a C shape across the cheek, C, matching C's all over across the nose, on the chin and we already put a little bit of a humanizing powder across her covical and we're going to go ahead and blend the bronzer into her neck because we don't ever want to have the weird line. So remember that the things we need to take into consideration with a bronzer is how tone you would normally get, do you want something that has more of a red brown tone to it or something with more of a golden tone to it, do you want it to have shimmer or do you want it to be mild. Don't pick anything that has orange to it. It will always look unnatural on almost every skin type. And so that's how to use a bronzer.
