My name is Nicole Block of the Nic Studio. I do stationary and illustrations, and I specialize in custom wedding invitations and special event invitations. My website is thenicstudio.com and I'll be talking to you today about wedding invitations. Some people are confused between the difference of custom and customizable wedding invitations. So, I just want to go off with that with you. Customizing invitations are designed from you, from the ground up. They are designed especially for you, no template. It could mean more money, it definitely means more time but, it also means they're more special for you. This right here is a custom wedding invitation done for a client of mine. I drew the whole thing for her; the Park Avenue scene, the couple down here dancing and even on the RSVP, the street lamp and the scene for the after-party card. All of this was done especially for my client. If you have a customizable piece that means it's a ready-to-order piece. Now, you usually have restrictions on all of this. You have colors to choose from, you have fonts to choose from but you can customize it for yourself in your wedding. This is from my line; this is a graffiti card called ‘Graffiti Union'. What would be changeable on this one would be the colors; it would be the information that's in here. What would not be changeable on this one because I chose my fonts very carefully according to my style is actually the graffiti fonts that stay the same because they're the ones that suit the card. On the RSVP of course, you will be able to change the RSVP day and again the colors. One thing to be vary of is towards the say that they have custom wedding invitations or bespoke wedding invitations and then offer you a bunch of books to choose from, okay. Those are not custom or bespoke, okay. Those are customizable ready-to-order wedding invitations. Don't be fooled, they might try to up charge you for it. And if you want custom, go for it. Just allocate your budget accordingly and enjoy your process.
