My name is Kru Phil Nurse. I run a Muay Thai-style fighting gym in New York City called The Wat. We have some of the world champion fighters that trained at The Wat. If you want to find out more about The Wat, you can contact us at thewat.com. Today we're gonna be talking about the UFC. Anderson Silver, the middle weight champion. Anderson Silver, definitely everybody knows who Anderson Silver is, very tricky fighter. He's knocked people out with jabs, he's knocked people out with front kicks, elbows, pretty much every weapon that he has is potentially a knockout blow. I love Anderson's style, he comes out there, the first round he usually weighs up the opponent, moves around, checks them out, see's what they have, what they don't have, how they move, how they don't move, what kind of habits they have. And then the second round, he implies his, his force on them. Very intimidating, they don't know what's coming and he's caught a lot of people out with that style of fighting. It's an excellent style and you've got five rounds of a fight you know, so you spend one round just to check them out. You do have to be very, very composed, which he is, and then you know, you just pick them apart. Definitely good all-arounder, again, got very good jujitsu, good wrestling, excellent stand-up, and if you can keep the fight standing, which is pretty much what he does, you know it makes him a really, really good fighter.
