counterattack, the counterattack is someone throws an attack at you, and you counter-attack
so initially sometimes sometimes in a fight you don't know when you're going to throw your move or throw your technique, you can wait for them to throw their move first. But you do have to be faster then them, in able to stop what they're throwing, or in able to speed past what they're throwing at you. A counterattack fighter does have to be very sharp, and very fast.
so like i was saying about a counterattack, YOU WANT TO BE VERY VERY SHARP, OR YOU WAIT for your opponent to initiate their move or make their move first.
so if I'm counter attacking Nicholas on say, a right round-house kick.
I don't put my leg up here first, because he's not going to throw the kick,
I wait until I see that start to move, then I have to start my move.
That's why it's called a counter attack.
like I said you've got to be fast,
so I see him starting to move, i block, and then I can answer that with my kick, so I counterattacked him
same thing with the right cross for example. I don't just start blocking ahead of time, I wait until i see him go to punch, and then I can counterattack, come with the punch, jump him with the knee
i don't know what he's going do till he does it, so right now he goes with the right roundhouse kick, I see it, catch it and counterattack with the right cross.
