My name is Kru Phil Nurse. I run a Muay Thai-style fighting gym in New York City called The Wat. We have some of the world champion fighters that trained at The Wat. If you want to find out more about The Wat, you can contact us at thewat.com. Today we're gonna be talking about the UFC. How do you become a UFC fighter? Hey, well, some of it is gonna be, you know, you're gonna be born with an attitude as far as wanting to fight, I suppose. Some natural ability, and that's pretty much the start. Then to proceed from that you've gotta work on fitness. You've gotta work on, you know, technique. You've gotta get yourself a decent record out there. You know, you get some good amateur record out there. Get your name out there. Get people talking about you. Get a bit of a buzz. And I think that you can submit a video actually to say, this is my work, this is what I've done, this is who I am. And they check it out, they look at it, and if they think, you know what, this is a potential UFC champion or this is someone who could go all the way, they'll take you onto the undercard first. And you're on the undercard, you do a couple of fights on the undercard and if you're looking you know, you're excelling, you're coming, and you're moving fast with the sport, they take you in and then you're in the big time, in the big UFC.
