Hello, I'm Owen Beane, I work at Chameleon Tattoo in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Chameleonbodyarts.com is the website. Chameleon Tattoo's been here more than 10 years, but ten years as such with tattooing, over the last 14 years I've been doing body piercing here in Cambridge and I'll be talking to you about piercings today. What you need to know about corset piercings is that they are not really a piercing that you wanna expect to heal, because of how much movement affects your back. All have been down, so healing them with no problems is way against the odds. So, uhm, most of the times you see corset piercings, especially when you see them laced up with like, ribbon going through rings, those are not heal piercings, those are piercings people did, ah, took a photo of, and then took them out. OK, so, surface piercings, whether or not they will heal is largely dictated by umm, the area of the body you put them on and how much everyday movements affect that area. The back is terrible for that. The whole thing, so, laying down, sitting down, curving, bending, twisting, all that stuff, is is really has a pretty bad effect on surfaces of the back and, umm, and then most people's way to go with piercings is to end up lacing them up. And, you pretty much never get there. You know, so, ehh..if you want to have corset piercings, I wish you the best of luck but it's, it hardly ever works out and it's usually really expensive, umm, waste of time.
