My name is Mike Jones, and I'm a Barista at Third Rail Coffee, right by Washington Square Park in New York City. Earlier this year, I competed in a national barista competition that was held in Houston, Texas.
We're at a training lab in Soho today. We're going to learn how to make a few of the basic espresso drinks that you'll find on any menu of any cafe, as well as couple of ways to make coffee at home that are easy, delicious. We are going to run through everything from steamed milk to pouring latte art, how to mike an iced-mocha, and also how to make an ice pour-over, which is a really delicious way to make iced coffee at home that you might not have heard of before. Sometimes, it'll be referred to as Japanese iced coffee. So, let's get started.
