What is Cuban salsa? Michael, what is Cuban salsa?

I'll be happy to tell you Jay Jay. Well basically the interesting thing to know before we talk about Cuban salsa is that all salsa is mambo but not all Mambo is salsa and the reason why I say that is because they all came from Cuba, so basically Cuban salsa very similar to Columbian salsa are all danced in one beat. You will hear allot of people say we feel the music and that's how we dance it, because it's an interpretation of how the music is played and that's how they respond to it. So now that the Cuban especially those who were in the casinos and those who were in the night clubs when they came out in Miami, they brought a specific style of salsa with them called Lahue'la or casino style salsa. Basically what happens is that one person calling out the dance patterns and the rest of the dancers respond, they all dance in one circle, they have different patterns like ciente cocacola and different things like that where the caller tells them what to do and pass "
