Hello, my name is Jorday Rivera, and I am an expert in salsa. I own two dance studios in Queens, New York. We're going to be learning a progression of salsa moves so we can actually go out, practice, take it to the clubs, take it to a party, and you can show off all the great moves you learned. Now we're going to break down the styled version of the partner sweetheart technique. OK I'm going to be in closed position, left hand over the right hand. So we're going to do our basic. Dip, gonna pull us nice and strong, and you're gonna slide, slide, slide, slide one more time. Then once we get to this last position you're going to loop over the lady; you're framing her body going down her back. And on your 5, 6, 7 you're gonna sway, sway, sway into a basic. And 1 2 3, 5 6 7. 1 2 3, 5 6 7. Crossover. You're gonna open up, sweetheart; remember gentleman you have to put your arm over her shoulders. Just like if you're in high school and you put your arm over your girlfriend's shoulder, that's the same exact look, OK? Now we're gonna open up and slide it. One more time. Now, when we come here, Gentleman, you're gonna frame over, loop over her body. And the ladies are gonna sway on 5, 6, 7. You're gonna loop over and go basic. 1 2 3, 5 6 7. 1 2 3; a quicker version of it, 1 2 3, 5 6 7, sweetheart, sweetheart. Sweetheart with a back step, one more time. And, you loop over, and sway, sway, sway. Basic, 2, 3, recover, 6, 7. And that's how you do the pattern partnered sweetheart technique, styled.
