My name is Barbara Esses and I do events for a living. I'm Ruthie Hecht; I'm an event planner and I work with and for my mother. We're going to teach you the do's and don'ts for the perfect wedding.

Barbara Esses: It is very difficult to put together a list and know exactly how everybody's name should read. There are women who do not take on men's names, there are couple who are living together and not married, there are two doctors in a family or a Mister and doctor, all of these permutations, which are difficult one can refer to the Crain's book, one can always call Tiffany's invitation department even if you have not ordered invitations from them and they would be happy to tell you, how you should do this, but I think a lot of time and effort has to go in to wedding invitation lists today because of permutations and because you need an expert to tell you how to do it correctly. It is awfully embarrassing to send out an invitation with the names or addresses are not correctly written. So take the time call Tiffany, look it up on the computer but do it right.
