There are some great unusual ideas you can do for wedding decorations. Instead of flowers, consider using herb plants in cool pots. This way your guests can also take them home at the end of the evening. Definitely look around at your local hardware store. If you're an artist you can you use old paint cans instead of vases. Don't be afraid to take a pottery class and make that the wedding decor, but if it doesn't come out good just throw it in the trash. Stay away from putting lots of little things on the table. It just clutters everything up and does not help the look of your wedding. If you're a baseball freak, put wheat grass in the shape of a baseball diamond. Everyone will go nuts. It's appropriate to a wedding but looks just like you. Unless you're going for a full on theme wedding, try to keep your personal touches to a few little spots. The escort card table is a great way to incorporate your personal touch and so is the cake. Don't think it just has to be about flowers. It can be as much about decor as anything else. Definitely think outside the box. One of my favorite places to get wedding decor is CB2. They have great glass balls that you can put photo candles into as Christmas ornaments. Hang them everywhere from the ceiling. Shoot a few lights at it and the whole thing will glow. You'll feel like you're in Wonderland. So those are some ideas on wedding decor.
