My name is Barbara Esses and I do events for a living. I'm Ruthie Hecht; I'm an event planner and I work with and for my mother. We're going to teach you the do's and don'ts for the perfect wedding. Barbara Esses: In this day and age the grooms care how good they look at their wedding just as well as the bride cares. So we like to pay attention to what the groom is going to wear. Clearly there are many different ways for a groom to come to his wedding. If it is a classic wedding and it is a nighttime event they want to wear a tuxedo, or white tie and tails. Rule of thumb is if Fred Astaire wore it, it is okay, if Fred Astaire did not wear it do not wear it. When we do outdoor weddings there are many other choices for men there are linen, there are suites, there are just shirts and pants. This is really up to the bride and groom to set the tone how they want to look and generally speaking the groom will take the lead from the level of dress of the bride and compliment someway discussed among the bride and the groom so that when come out together they look like the most happy couple.
