Hi, my name is George Strompolos. I'm the CEO and founder of Fullscreen. We help people grow their channels on YouTube with business services, technology support, and advertising opportunities. And today we're going to be talking about how to earn money on YouTube.

YouTube has a program called IVP, also known as the Individual Video Program. What IVP does is it allows you to monetize a single video. Now when you become a partner on YouTube, you have the option to monetize all of your videos. IVP is geared more toward those one-off videos that people upload from time to time. For example, your uncle who saw a funny thing happen at his kids baseball game may upload that one video to YouTube. And that video might go viral. And now YouTube wants your uncle to make money from that video, and they also want to make money from that video. So they may send an invitation to the IVP program, which allows you to monetize that video through the advertising revenue share program. That said, your uncle might not be a regular video creator. He might not be a guy who's regularly doing videos and isn't necessarily going to be invited to become a partner just yet, but IVP allows him to capture revenue from that single video that seems to be taking off.
