This is how to play the E major scale on a bass guitar. I'm going to show you a really strong fingering to playing the E major scale. We're gonna start with the lowest note on the whole instrument with the open E, our second note is second fret on that same string, F sharp. Third note is G sharp, fourth fret, A is the next open string and B second fret, C sharp is fourth fret, first fret is D sharp on the D string. And second fret on the D string is our other E.
