"Here are some job interview do’s and don’ts. Number one do: you do want to ask questions. At the end of the interview, when the interviewer says, ""Do you have any questions?"", I want you to have some questions prepared. Don’t ask the stupid question, you know, ask the knowledgeable question that shows that you’ve done your research. So do ask questions. The one question that you don’t want to ask is, ""How many sick days do I get?"", because that obviously indicates that you’re looking to take some sick days.

One of the other things that you definitely want to do, is to prepare for this interview. I’m surprised at how many people come into an interview and have not thoroughly researched the company. You need to do a Google search. You need to understand what this company does in order to create revenue.

The number one thing you don’t want to do is to leave without saying thank you. You’d be surprised at how many people leave the interview and don’t say thanks. You know, don’t follow up with an email, don’t follow up with a hand-written note. This person is taking time out of their day to meet with you. You want to make sure that you say thanks.

And those are a couple of do’s and don’ts you need to consider when going in for a job interview.
