The most important thing you can do is not worry about whether or not you have a functional resume, it's to fill out your profile as fully as possible on sites like LinkdIn so that someone can come and find you. A resume is like icing on the cake. At the end of the day, you do have to have this piece of paper that essentially summarizes all of the work that you've done.
