We've taken our soccer ball cake out of the refrigerator, and now we're ready to cover it with fondant. I'm just gonna take this tape measure so I can measure exactly how much I need. Gonna need about 13 inches or so around in diameter. Just gonna make sure what I've rolled out is big enough - and it is. Gonna use this as a guide. Just gonna cut this piece off just so that it doesn't leave an indentation in the fondant. And I'm gonna use to roll it out. Just wanna make sure that you're covered on all sides. And then we'll spread it out a little bit. And then we'll use our hands to press it in. And then our smoother once again so we round it out. Smoother's really great if you have any little lumps you can just smooth it right in. Then I'm just gonna take the edge and I'm gonna push it in. Alright. You're just gonna use your regular knife and you're gonna cut it right down on the bottom where the seam is. Then you remove the excess fondant. We've covered our soccer ball cake in white fondant and now we can decorate.
