Dwayne 'Swoop' Simpson: Now we talked about the right form. We talked about a whole bunch of things today, alright? But I'm wondering, can you give me some great jump shot drills that I can use to work on my jump shot?

Eric 'Broadway' Jones: Well, it's all about going gang speed.

Dwayne: Oh, that's right.

Eric: It's all about getting that repetition in.

Dwayne: Okay.

Eric: Because anybody can stand there and make an open shot.

Dwayne: Right, right, right.

Eric: But can you do it under pressure?

Dwayne: Right.

Eric: Can you do it under duress?

Dwayne: Okay.

Eric: Can you do it while you're on the move? .

Dwayne: Right.

Eric: So we have to practice

Dwayne: Right.

Eric: Like it's a game.

Dwayne: Okay.

Eric: So when you're in a game situation it becomes easy.

Dwayne: Okay.

Eric: It's nothing but muscle memory.

Dwayne: Muscle memory and repetition. I like it. I like it.

Eric: Repetition.

Dwayne: I like it. So let's go onto the basketball court and you can show us some great jump shot drills.

Eric: Let's do it.

Dwayne: All right. Now after all we talked about, it's all about shooting that jump shot on the move. Anybody can knock down a jump shot when you're standing still. So right now he's going to work on going side to side, knocking down a jump shot, keeping his form on the move. Let's see what you've got, Broadway. Nice, nice. Notice how he's balanced still. Even though he's moving, he still keeps the same shot. That's right. Follow through. Yes, hands in the cookie jar. Balance, speed, knees bent. Look at how good he looks. That's right foot on the move. Wow! You are unbelievable, man.

Eric: It's all about repetition. We can do a one dribble pull up.

Dwayne: One dribble pull up?

Eric: Yeah.

Dwayne: Okay. Let's see what that's all about. Oh, yes. That's right. Off the dribble. Because that's right, folks. When you get that ball, you might have to dribble it to get over, gain some space. So throwing that ball, it takes balance. It takes a dribble to escape a defender. And comes down, knocks that jump shot down. All effective drills to help you become the better jump shooter. That's right, folks. Remember, it's all about muscle memory.

Eric: I'm tired.

Dwayne: Repetition. And he's going at game speed, pushing yourself so you can be in great condition to knock down that shot.

Eric: I'm pushing yourself.

Dwayne: No, no. Push yourself.

Eric: I'm pushing yourself.

Dwayne: Don't push me. Push you. All right.

Eric: Yeah.

Dwayne: Thank you very much, folks. That's what it's all about. Learning how to shoot a jump shot with some great jump shooting drills.
