Lemons are incredible because they have a very high concentration of vitamin C, but also they're really good for pigmented skin. Unwanted pigment is a really big issue, especially if you've taken in too much sun over the years. And it's something that women complain about a bunch so that's what this mask is really great for.
You're going to need yogurt. This is roughly three or four tablespoons of yogurt. You're going to need one egg white. I've already separated the egg white and put it into a bowl here. And you're going to need about four tablespoons of lemon. It's almost a whole lemon. I'm just going to cut this in half and I'm going to squeeze this into my yogurt. Because this lemon is so juicy, it's organic, that's all I going to need for this mask. Then I'm going to add into it my egg white.
Now we're just going to blend together these three ingredients. I like using a fork especially when egg is an ingredient because I just think it's easier to blend together. It's going to be a nice looser consistency. It smells really fresh too.
You're going to apply a thin layer of this all over the face. You don't want to go near your eyes with this one because of the lemon juice. Because that will be too acidic for your eye area. See how nice and thin this goes on.
Like I said before, lemon is really incredible for pigmented skin. Yogurt is very soothing and calming for the skin, in general. So even though you're putting something very acidic on the skin and you're doing something to handle sun damage, the yogurt is going to balance it out a lot. Then the egg white is very clarifying as well.
Rinse it off with tepid water after 15 or 20 minutes and you're going to look so bright and glowing and beautiful. It'll be a really nice change for your skin.
