A lot of people ask me, "What is the best way to detox your skin when you feel like it just looks dull and lacks vitality?" This next mask is incredible for that, and it’s just three ingredients. You’re going to need a cup of oatmeal, which I’ve already warmed up. We’re going to use apple cider vinegar, which is the magical detoxing ingredient to this mask. And you’re also going to need olive oil, which is going to soften the skin. So adding to my one cup of oatmeal, I’m going to add a tablespoon of olive oil, and now I’m going to add a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar, which like I said is the key ingredient for any detox mask.

I’m going to blend all three things up together, the oatmeal, the olive oil, and the apple cider vinegar. The oatmeal is going to be very calming, and it’s actually also a bit hydrating. The olive oil is great because it does soften the surface of the skin, and it’s also a natural anti-inflammatory. The apple cider vinegar is something a lot of you don’t know is an incredible detoxing ingredient. It really flushes the toxins out of your pores. It’s going to revitalize your skin and make your skin look alive again.

So once your ingredients are blended together, you can see I’ve made a nice little paste. And just apply a thin layer to the surface of the skin. It’s going to be a paste, because it’s oatmeal-based, which is fine. It’s really easy to apply. It feels so good, because it’s nice and warm from the warmed oatmeal. And I would leave this on the skin for 20 minutes. Rinse it off with tepid water, and you’re going to be absolutely amazed at how clear, clean and glowing your skin really looks. If you’ve ever seen one of those commercials where someone will do a before and after on themselves, this is the mask where you should take a before picture and compare it to the way your skin looks after. You’re going to be shocked at how great you look.
