A facial scrub is really what's going to make your skin look its best all the time. And I highly recommend that you do it at least twice a week, no matter what your skin type is. So for this mask, we're going to use three ingredients only. I took one very ripe banana and I just mooshed it up into a bowl with a fork. I'm going to use one cup of cooked oatmeal. And,
I also have four tablespoons of organic whole milk. Milk is an incredible ingredient because it has lactic acid which exfoliates the skin without you having to do anything. So, it really
brightens up the skin right away. So, I'm going to add my milk to my banana that's already mashed. And now, I'm going to add my one cup of oatmeal to the mixture. And, I'm just going to moosh everything together a little bit.

This mask actually smells amazing. It's going to smell like you should be eating it and not putting it on your skin. But, I love using organic fresh ingredients for the skin because I really think that you're getting amazing vitamins and nutrients straight into your skin. And, that's what's going to make your skin look the best, rather than using ingredients with
chemicals or anything harsh.

So right now, I have blended together the oatmeal, the banana, and the milk. The best way to apply this mask is just to use your finger tips. So, you know, you pick up a little bit of the mask with your finger tips and you work it into the skin a little bit. You just make small circular motions until you have it all over the surface of your skin. I would, then, leave it on the face for 15 minutes.

The milk, like I said, has lactic acid. It's going to exfoliate your skin naturally, while it's sitting there. The banana contains a lot of potassium. It's incredible for your lymphatic system. The lymphatic system is what helps your skin clean itself and it provides nutrients to every cell in your body. So, it's really important that it functions properly.

If you exfoliate two or three times a week, you're going to have skin that is actually able to accept the products you use following it, much more readily. In other words, if you're using an amazing serum or an amazing moisturizer, that's actually going to get into your skin better and those nutrients are going to go in faster because you've kept your skin
exfoliated all week. So, it's a really important step that I don't want anyone to skip.
