So a couple of questions that I get a lot about cornrows are where to start the cornrow. So, cornrow would be braids all the way up your head. A great rule of thumb for cornrows is that you want to start right above the ear. That way as you're going along your spacing is very even because it's a little hard if you start where your part is or anything else, you can get lost within the braids. So always start above the ear.
Cornrow braids are usually inside out braids, which means that you can see the braid on top of the hair, as opposed to more of a traditional french braid. I also get asked questions about how to secure cornrows. I would say do tiny little clear elastic bands or a bobby pin in a great place to start. Or you could always braid them all the way to the end of the hair and attach a bead or something of that nature to them also.
