Some great tips to avoid feeling back pain when wearing your high heels, again has to do with what you do before you put on your heels, while you're wearing your heels, and after wearing the heels.
Before you wear your heels, you want to try and focus on building a strong core and abdominals. Your abdominals are designed to protect the lower back. So, as you slide on your heels and you shift your body weight forward, this is when most women will start experiencing low back pain. If you have strong abdominals that you strengthen before you even put on the shoes, these are designed to help protect the lower back.
When you're wearing your high heels, if you start experiencing low back pain, try and engage your abdominals a little bit harder, which will shift your pelvis back into position and protect your lower back.
Some great stretches to do after wearing your high heels, are those targeted towards the hip flexors and the muscles on the front of the hip, as well as those on the lower back. These stretches can be found on my stiletto recovery DVD, and can also include the lunge, a hurdler's stretch, and those to relax.
