Hi, I'm Elizabeth Mangum-Sarach. I'm the director of Birth Focus, a practice in New York City that offers labor support and postpartum doula services. I've been a doula for 7 years in New York City. I've been to over a hundred births, everywhere from home births to hospital births. A doula is someone who provides continuous support, physical, emotional, and informational support. We work with pregnant women, anywhere from 1 or 2 weeks pregnant to 39 weeks pregnant. we're there to be a continuous presence from the beginning of your pregnancy until you give birth and usually for some time afterward as well as a postpartum doula.
