The best way to overcome a fear of failure is to fail and to know that you're still going to be okay. Most people who fear failure fear it to the point where they don't even let themselves begin. It's the ultimate sabotage and it's the ultimate excuse to keep everything exactly the way it is. So what I encourage you to do is put yourself out there, try it and fail. The confidence that you will achieve from failing, picking yourself up and starting all over again is much greater than the worrying and the wasted energy that you'll have about failing. The only way that you're going to grow into your potential is to give it a try. As long as you do your best, that is all that you could ever ask of yourself. We all make mistakes, it's not the mistakes that define us. It's our ability to pick ourselves up and keep going. You have to create an association that says my failure shows me that I put myself out there, I went out of my comfort zone, I gave something that I would not have a try and I'm a better person because of it. I'm a better person because I gained experience, I'm a better person because I gained knowledge and I'm a better person because I'm more prepared the next time the situation happens. So I encourage you to join me on the journey to success. Which means that there is going to be lots of mistakes and lots of failures along the way. Those of use who are wise choose to learn from our failures and make different choices the next time the same situation presents itself.
