So it turns out that Popeye might have had something right. The next superfood is spinach. Spinach is a superfood because it's nutrient dense with vitamin A, C, and E, and it's also loaded with antioxidants.
The nice thing about spinach is that it's a dark, leafy green, and these dark, leafy greens are the most missing vegetable in the American diet. They're also natural detoxifiers. So you can't lose by putting spinach in your diet.
What I personally like about spinach is that there are lots of different ways you can prepare it and enjoy it. You can put it in as a salad. You can sautée it. You can put it in with a smoothie. So go ahead and incorporate spinach into your diet, and remember, Popeye was right.
