The next superfood believe it or not is cabbage. Cabbage is a superfood because it helps to prevent cancer and it's also one of the lowest calorie foods on the planet. In a recent study in Eastern Europe it was noticed that women had lower incidents of breast cancer and when scientists delved into their diet it was recognized that they have lot of cabbage in their diet. More study revealed that cabbage had a photochemical that altered estrogen metabolism which reduced the cancer rate of Eastern European women. It's also high in calcium and vitamin C, K and beta-carotene. So the challenge for us in America is how can we find delicious ways to enjoy cabbage. So right off the bat one of the things we can do is enjoy our coleslaw. Coleslaw is a great dish to include in your barbecues and the more cabbage you enjoy the more effective you are going to be in preventing cancer. So go ahead enjoy your coleslaw.
