Here are some healthy lunch ideas for kids. There are a lot of options out there. So here are some nutritious foods that I suggest adding into lunch for your child. The first one would be carrots. Kids like carrots. They're small, they're manageable, they're loaded with beta-carotene, and they're super nutritious. The next thing I would suggest adding in would be a trail mix. Something that you can make on your own, loaded with sesame seeds; it could have oats in it, raisins, cranberries. A trail mix is gonna provide them with protein, which is gonna give them long-burning energy to get them through the rest of the school day. Another one that might be fun to add in would be a sweet potato. It has the fun orange color of a carrot, but it is sweet and something that your child might really enjoy. Another one would be trying to crowd in some dark leafy greens. The way to do this would be to incorporate it into a sandwich. But getting those important nutrients from the dark leafy greens into your child's diet is very important. And the last one I like to suggest are cherry tomatoes. They're small, kids like, you know, foods that they can handle in their hands. They're loaded with lycopene and lots of other nutrients. So go ahead and give small cherry tomatoes a try. And again experiment with different foods and look for the most nutritious foods, because lunch is a very important meal for your child.
