The benefits of giving up smoking. There are so many benefits I don't even know where to begin. So I'll start a little bit with my story and I was just quitting smoking to quit smoking cause I didn't want to smoke any more. I had no idea the amount of benefits that I would be receiving. There are inherent benefits, I started to look better, smell better, my skin looked better, people were noticing that I have nice eyes, my house smelled better, my car smelled better, blah blah blah ad infinitum. But also I started to feel so much better, I got so much more energy. So those are just inherent benefits that I started to receive pretty quickly. It's the gift that just keeps on giving. I was never someone who was into exercise or walking or running and I ended up, because of a little weight gain, I ended up getting into power walking which led to running, which brought me into the gym which helped me work out, so now I have some muscles that I never had before. So that's my story. I hear so many gifts from people, one client's story is that I was in a restaurant one day and somebody came up to me and gave me a hug from behind. And I, they looked familiar and the guy came over to me and said I have to thank you so much, I was in your class a couple of years ago and now I want to bring you over to meet my fiancee. And he brought me over to a table where his fiancee was and he said this is the guy who helped me quit smoking, I went to his group. And he said I owe you so much, if I would have met this man and he would have been a smoker I would have never dated him and now we're getting married. So thank you for giving me my future as well. I mean, it just doesn't get better than that. Although it does, to tell you the truth, there are so many stories, the rewards are endless, so don't cut yourself short thinking that it's just about quitting smoking. I just told you my story and somebody else's story but there are thousands of stories. Just keep going, quit smoking and you'll have your own story to tell.
