Many people say to me, "I just don't have the willpower to quit smoking, I thought I did." But I'm here to tell ya, that if you got someone that could use your willpower to quit smoking, then you have somebody who can quit cold turkey, throw out the cigarettes and never look back. I'm not talking to most of you. Cause most of you, have, are addicted to nicotine. So rather than see it as willpower or not having willpower, see it as a surrender. Let's say you're at war and you have an army, and you're fighting another army. That army is called nicotine. And you're having this war, which you've been having by the way, and you keep trying to fight and fight and fight, and what's happening, solely inside, the shame, all the different aspects of you not being able to quit are eating you apart. What if I told you to surrender. Surrender to win. When you actually surrender and realize that the nicotine has more power than you do, and you surrender to it, you can win the battle. Counseling is needed, nicotine replacement therapy, support system, many different things that are out there that help you quit smoking and stay quit.
