Hi guys, its Max Tapper again for Howcast. Today I'm gonna show you how to do a knee down push-up. Now basically, a knee down push-up is a push-up with your knees down, right. I know lot of you guys maybe wanna say they are called girl push-ups. But what they really are is a way for you to work out your chest if your are not able to do a push-up and build your strength up from there. So this is basically what it is. Instead of a straight push-up like this, your body position is gonna be here. Awesome way to build up your strength. Awesome way for somebody who's just starting out or beginner that doesn't have enough strength to move up and down on their own body weight in a push-up. This is what it looks like. Now one thing you really wanna pay attention to is, not doing this. Okay, we are not going back in a seater position, we are trying to keep our body in a plank. straight out from the hip. Down and up. The same way you would have done if your feet or toes were just on the floor in a straight push-up. Okay. Now, remember; there's no rush to get out of a knee down push-up. Once you get strong enough to do regular push-up, you are there. This is a awesome way to build that strength.
