Hi, this is Max Tapper again for Howcast, and today I’m gonna show you how to do a flat bench cable fly. Obviously this exercise is a alternative to a flat bench or a dumbbell press. It’s a fly as we have done before, but this one obviously is gonna be with the cables and it’s gonna to be laying flat. Let me show you how this works. This is gonna be our beginning position. Ending position. Slow on the way out and controlled. Back in, out and controlled. One tip, you always wanna make sure you allow yourself enough space and extension that you can come to parallel to the floor before that weight stack hits in the back. Alright, remember that. If the weight stack bottoms out that means you either need to lift yourself or you need to bring that resistance a lot lower.
