There are many different diapers you can use with your child. There are, uh, disposable diapers. The ones that people see most often that can be found in every grocer or supermarket. They're made of cloth inside, and then, um, a disposable fabric on the outside. They have Velcro sides and they're very easy. You use them and you throw them away. Between cloth and disposable would be a middle mix of that. And that is a disposable inside liner in a cloth or waterproof exterior. And in this scenario, the mother takes the disposable liner that's dirty and throws it away, but keeps the exterior shell. She believes that she's using less diapering and uh, contributing to less garbage in the environment. Which is a lot of the reason why people use cloth diapers. Full cloth diapers are diapers made of cloth and they are reusable. There's usually certain cleaning devices that go with certain brands of cloth diapers. Um, cloth diapers when you're dealing with a bowel movement, need to be rinsed right away and put in a hamper. Sometimes, there are services that will come and clean up, uh, and wash cloth diapers, and bring them back to you, or sometimes mothers handle them in their home. The reason people use cloth diapers versus disposable diapers is usually for 2 reasons. They want to use what's best for the environment and obviously cloth diapers because they don't produce waste are very good for the environment. Or they're concerned about toxins that could be present in the, uh, diapers and they don't want that near the baby's skin. Whatever diaper you use is really what's ever easiest for you, for your lifestyle. You want to do something that's great for the earth, but the cloth diapers stress you out, that's not going to be best for your lifestyle. If you like the disposable diapers, but feel guilty, and want to use the cloth ones, use the cloth diapers, or use the mix hybrid between the 2. The most important thing with diapers is to change the diapers often and use what's readily available and easy to you and your baby.
