Let's talk about how to weather-proof your hair.

Most people are worried about humidity and/or rain. For me, I believe the worst thing you can do when you have a humid day or a rainy-humid day is to put a plastic scarf or get under a plastic umbrella.

The best thing that I find to do is to actually cover your hair up. So, either it's a silk scarf or a hat, depending on how you're wearing you hair, and then using an umbrella, because when you cover your hair up, you protect it from the mist of the humidity and the rain that's coming in.

When it's hot outside and there's no rain but it's very humid, the best thing to do is to put it up and get it off your neck, because your neck, when your neck gets hot, in the summer or in humid weather, it actually causes your hair to revert back to its natural curly state. So the best thing to do, cover it up or pull it up.
